The black paint on mine is RAL9005.
Does anyone know the RAL number of the gold pinstriping?

Hesketh Bits and Pieces for Sale / Little Piece of V1000 History ...
Last post by Miti - May 09, 2020, 02:26:39 PM
Well, the ultra-clear out has finally reached the garage. I've had this souvenir for almost a decade now and, sadly, it's time to move it on...

The 'souvenir' is the card drawers that held the part number and stock locations for the V1000 parts during the limited production at Easton Neston and Turweston... They may have even been used at the Daventry factory?

I got these from Paul Sleeman and they've been at the end of my bench ever since... Well , I now need the bench space more than the sentimental connection, so they're up for grabs.

I don't want anything for these, just the cost of shipping. Free collection though (They'rejust North of Glasgow)...

If you're interested, let me know... Ta!

I've posted pics on the HOC Facebook page, here:

Hi Paul,
Sprag part numbers for various makers are:-

Renold Part. No. REGP 4972 (4C)
Borg-Warner Part.No. BWX 1310003
Formspragg-Steiber Part. No. DC 4972 (4C)
Ringspann Part. No. 3677.049.602.000000

They should be available from the major Bearing Stockists or Engineering Suppliers.
I bought a batch from Eriks 10 years ago but have sold/used them all.
Jeff had a batch on this forum in 2015 and sold them all.

Not sure which companies are open for orders during the current crisis, so if you need one urgently, Peter & Claire White should have them in stock and Rob Bennett often has a stock of them in his spares supplies.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

Page 74 of the owners manual gives details with a nice picture. The thin washer goes between the speedo drive and the right hand fork leg.
