Title: V1000 in Finnish classic motor magazine
Post by: Julf on July 01, 2017, 03:51:35 PM
The latest issue of "Mobilisti", a Finnish magazine devoted to older vehicles, has a test ride report (with extensive background story). Here is the teaser video they made - sorry about the language: https://youtu.be/nCBK4aXivXo (https://youtu.be/nCBK4aXivXo)

It's a wonder he didn't 'sprag' the bugger there...!!  Did you see his frantic twisting of the throttle..?

Nice to see another one out of the garage though...  How's your bike coming along Julf..?

Well found Julf.

It still has it's UK registration, so we know it's a Daventry bike, engine number 168 with EN10 mods. Previous owner Hesketh Motorcycles, Tadworth.

It certainly needs the carbs removing and cleaning. As you say Jeff, with that starting technique something has to give.

Now get that Hesketh on the road before winter comes and spoils all the fun!!  ;-)
