Chaps

Against all original plans, I have decided to sell the Hesketh.  Having now got the Old Girl running well, bar a slight fluffiness just off idle (pulls really strongly throughout the rest of the rev range), domestic circumstances have changed.....

Bike is 1982 in Black/Nickel, the third delivered from the Daventry factory, with original Lord Hesketh letter to the new owner, and original tool kit in roll. 11900 miles with MoT until Jun 17

Paintwork is original (along with microblisters to rear cowl and mudguard), and the frame has the odd flake of nickel missing, but the patina of age made me decide to keep everything as is (bar coats of wax)....  Corrosion has all been treated (not that there was much other than a light coat under the tank).

Shorty reverse cone megas fitted until I could find a replacement rhs seamless silencer (NOS lhs one will come with the bike).  New petcocks and fuel cap fitted.  New coil, plug leads and plugs.  Tyres good, Spare oil filters (5 of), along with spare spark plugs aplenty (both resistor and non-) and a new sprag.  New tank underskirt too....

Comes with Givi Wingrack and Panniers, and 2 full sets of keys...

Pics below - only change is a de-greased/cleaned and waxed chain......

Plenty of history in the 'Help' section.....

I think that £10k is fair, considering the time and parts invested......

Happy to send any more detailed photos on request.

Cheers

Pete

Thanks Robert

It would have been somewhat of a tragedy, as I have just sorted the carburation and she is running beautifully......just before winter sets in...!
