This is a good Cafe with proper food and usually plenty of interesting bikes / cars in the carpark

The A30 and A272 are good fast roads for the HESKETH and Saturday or Sunday breakfast sets you up nicely for the day. My run from Sturminster Newton via Shaftsbury, Salisbury, Stockbridge, Winchester is about 150miles there and back. Well worth a visit.

Safe riding,

Robert

I regularly go to Loomies, a word of warning - there are mobile speed traps along the A272 because some sports bike riders treat it as a race track and ignore double whites and speed limits. Not that I expect a Hesketh Owner to ride like a hoolie, but there are some nice, long sections of country road that are a 40mph limit and it is easy to break the limit.
Another good venue of a summer's eve is the cafe at Alton railway station on Wednesday evenings.
