Hi Pete,

The club tries to keep records of Hesketh production and ownership.

VUD486X is well known as the Harris Special Hesketh, which I have seen on a few occasions, including HOC events between 2001 and 2003.
It has also featured in the Sock magazine, including the front cover of Sock 108, August 2014.

Was it the Harris version when the first owner had it or was that a later conversion?

We know the current owner although his club membership has lapsed as he does not use it.
We'd be happy to pass on the first owners details to the current owner.

I have the main and side stands off that bike, if that helps..? 

(They weren't needed on the Harris frame).
