All,

For those that didn't go, well you totally missed out!!  Great weather, full of attractions, great entertainment and extremely frienedly!

Lachlan (my 7-year-old) had I had a superb time at Weeting.  Thank you so much to Peter and Claire for organizing everything to allow the Club to be part of a very interesting and entertaining weekend; moreover, they're very kind hospitality throughout our stay.  I'm sure the same would be said by Dave and Ellie; Terry and Dora; Matt and Sam; and Kev...

Where were the rest of you!?

A more detailed write up to follow!

Where were the rest of you!?

Saturday: We had the Queen's Baton (Commonwealth Games) come through our village, so there was a LOT of fuss and palarva about that - Went for a few sherries with some local pals in the evening...

Sunday: Popped over to Ireland to buy a new (to us) car...  Trip took 16 hours and included approx 300 miles and two ferries... New car is SUPER...!! ;D

Today: Local Public Holiday (Glasgow Fair).  I took the old Heskesaurus over the hills to Kippen for her MOT at Glengyle Garage - it's a genuine trip back in time... Approx 40 miles round trip and Big H is road legal again... The blether took longer than the test... You know you're in for the long haul when the tester starts off with; "Well..!!  You don't see many of those..."

Hope that helps...
