Hello  Newby here

I have had a V1000 for nearly ten years.

Its Red/Nickel with Gold wheels. Although registered 1/08/82 its "new"-having done now about 17 miles. I have all the delivery paperwork. Doesn't look like it has any EN mods. MB helped me re commission it a few years ago and its a runner - and totally original ie tyres are unworn etc-that said the nickel is a little scarred and I had to seal the tank.

Now the odd bit  Its frame is 082 and engine 182. So if you look at the register there are two engine 182's out there!?

Hi -forget what I just said!

Does have engine 186 as per the register. Another senior moment!

Hi Bonzo;

17 miles..?  Standard tyres..?  Sounds as if that bike needs new rubber and a good run..!!

Got any pics..?
